Misericordia University is a Catholic, co-educational liberal arts university located on a 100-acre campus in Dallas, Pennsylvania, near the cities of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton within the Diocese of Scranton. Originally founded by the Religious Sisters of Mercy, the university offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees as well as post-master's and post-bachelor's certificates. The university enrolled 3,065 students, and it ranked 44 among Northern regional universities and 25 in "Best Value Schools" in U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[1]

Informatics programs

The university used to have a healthcare informatics program with master's and certificate options[2], but it seems to have been discontinued in roughly 2017.
