			In 2012, the University of Washington I-TECH began hosting OpenELIS Global, an international version of the OpenELIS software. 			Since then, the software has received regular updates. Following the May 2019 release of version 9.1, work slowed slightly, apparently in favor of a planned rewrite of the code using Java Spring.
