Bode Cellmark Forensics, Inc.—doing business as Bode Technology—develops and distributes human DNA collection and analysis products. The company also provides forensic DNA analysis services.

History

In December 2014, Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) announced it had acquired Bode Technology Group, Inc., including its Chromosomal Lab division, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.[1][2] In March 2015, LabCorp announced that Bode Technology Group would combine with LabCorp's Cellmark Forensics division to form Bode Cellmark Forensics, Inc.[2]

Sometime in late 2018 or early 2019, the company removed mention of its BodeLIMS from its website, and the software was presumed discontinued.[3] However, at some point in 2019 the company began doing business as "Bode Technology," and at some point after that (2020–2021) the BodeLIMS page was re-added. With all the name changes and website changes, it's not clear what really happened to the BodeLIMS solution, but as of October 2021, the solution appears on the website.
