The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS), formerly the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (MSSM), is an American medical school in the New York City borough of Manhattan in the state of New York. It was chartered by Mount Sinai Hospital in 1963. The school enrolled 556 students, ranking 21 among medical schools for research and 25 for primary care in U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[1]
