Inflection Point Solutions, LLC supported old laboratory informatics software solutions for water and wastewater utilities and develops custom solutions. The company also provided related consulting services.

History

Inflection Point removed the list of PIMS features and its brochure from its website in late 2013. Sometime in 2017, Inflection Point removed mention of offering PIMS as a solution and updated their site to reflect they build custom custom software solutions. PIMS is presumed to be no longer offered.

On May 8, 2018, Westin Technology Solutions (like Inflection Point, a subsidiary of New Resources Companies) announced it would be merging with Inflection Point to become Westin Technology Solutions, which "will provide comprehensive technology consulting, engineering, and software development services."[1] However, the current website doesn't mention custom software development.

Older technology

The Pretreatment Information Management System or PIMS was a modular laboratory information management system (LIMS) that allows you "to effectively run your utility by better management and access to your pretreatment program details."[2][3]

Custom solutions

The provider stated previously that "our team is ready to use modern architectures and standard technologies to build fit-for-purpose applications that focus on usability and long-term supportability" for utilities companies.[4] With the merger with Westin Technology, it's not entirely clear if custom software development will continue.
