NTT DATA Corporation and its divisions develop and distribute IT software solutions, including healthcare and laboratory solutions.

History

NTT DATA Corporation officially acquired Keane International on January 3, 2011, though Keane was allowed to function as a separate legal entity.[1] However, on February 28, 2012, NTT announced it would begin consolidating all of its acquisitions into one organizational structure operating under the NTT DATA name. The consolidation was scheduled to begin on April 1, 2012.[2] It's not clear when exactly the consolidation was completed, but the Keane domain and identity disappeared sometime between September and December of 2012[3], with the emergence of Keane Optimum as simply the "Optimum" suite of applications.
