openCRX is free open-source customer relationship management (CRM) software that features account, product, price, process, and activity management tools.

Product history

Christoph Mueller and Werner Froidevaux founded the openCRX project in May 2003 while working for Swiss company CRIXP Corporation.[2] The openCRX project was introduced to SourceForge on November 18, 2003[3], with a 1.0.0 open-source release eventually arriving on August 1 the following year.[1] On September 25, 2005, the developers claimed the application had been downloaded over 100,000 times from SourceForge, with that number going up to 150,000 by November 2006.[1] Version 2.0.0 of the software was released on February 25, 2008, with new features like Tomcat support, access to LDAP and IMAP, and a new address book.[1]
