Reportico is a free open-source reporting tool built in PHP.

Product history

On March 3, 2010, a SourceForge project was started[2], with a 1.0.0 stable release arriving on October 26.[1] Development on the project has been steady since.

Features

The main features of Reportico include:

  • supports HTML, PDF, and CSV output
  • labeling and formatting of report data
  • directly run reports by passing criteria through the URL
  • use XML and JSON output to use Reportico as an API
  • configurable style sheets and templates
  • supports many databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Informix, SQLite 3, and Microsoft SQLServer
  • embeddable and drill-down reports
  • supports bar, stacked bar, and line charts
  • run multiple reports from a single page

Hardware/software requirements

Requirements for installing Reportico include:

  • Apache 1.3, Apache 2, or IIS web server
