VertiQ Software, LLC develops and distributes laboratory informatics software solutions for the forensics and law enforcement industry.

History

VertiQ Software, LLC was officially founded in 1999.[1]

Technology and products

CME and CME-LIMS

CME (Coroners and Medical Examiners) is case management software for coroner/medical examiner offices and labs. The solution offers "case management, death investigation workflow, task management, digital imaging, chain-of-custody through bar-coding, multiple death investigation, statistics, and report development."[2]

CME-LIMs is a laboratory information management system (LIMS) that "allows [forensics] laboratories to manage complex processes which will assist in a quicker turn-around time, giving the lab a quality reputation that will distinguish it from other labs, while managing their cases."[3] However, little is said about its functionality on the company website, though the software is said to integrate smoothly with CME.[3]
