Werum IT Solutions GmbH developed and distributed laboratory informatics software solutions. The company also provided process development, quality analysis, and other consulting services for biotech and chemical processing laboratories.
History
The Körber Group acquired Werum IT Solutions GmbH in early 2014.[1] Though Werum IT Solutions GmbH was kept around as a subsidiary of Körber Group, at some point in the spring or summer of 2022[2], Körber Group appears to have phased out the subsidiary and fully absorbed it into Körber AG. With it, the name of its PAS-X Savvy solution changed to Werum PAS-X Savvy.
EXPUTECH GmbH
EXPUTECH was officially founded in early 2013 as a biotech software developer.[3] In early June 2020, news broke that EXPUTEC had been acquired by Werum IT Solutions GmbH, with the transaction closing on May 28. "[T]he Exputec solutions are a perfect addition to Werum's market-leading Manufacturing Execution System (MES) PAS-X. Customers immediately benefit from a portfolio of software solutions covering the entire life cycle of pharmaceuticals from a single source."[4]
Sometime in 2021, Werum renamed former Exputech product inCyght to "PAS-X Savvy."[5][6]
Technology and products
PAS-X Savvy
PAS-X Savvy (formerly inCyght[6]) was a bioprocess data analysis platform that allows users to "manage, analyze, and report bioprocess development, validation and operational GMP data."[2] The software was available with several pre-configured content packages for specific industry processes. PAS-X Saavy comes in three different versions: Viewer, Professional, and Enterprise.[2]
