University of Copenhagen (UCPH) (Danish: Københavns Universitet) is the oldest university and research institution in Copenhagen, Denmark. The university has four campuses located in and around Copenhagen. Most courses are taught in Danish; however, many courses are also offered in English and a few in German. The university enrolled more than 40,000 students (2015)[1], and it ranked 49 among global universities, with rankings among the top 25 universities for their programs in pharmacology and toxicology, plant and animal science, agriculture, biology, and molecular biology and genetics according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[2]
