History

The company was officially founded in 1994.[2]

In July 2019, the company announced its Rainmaker picoliter volume dispensing device, the result of a collaboration with partners Applied Microarrays, Inc. and Engineering Arts, LLC.[3]

Technology and products

BioDot has a wide product line of automated dispensers, aspirators, cytogenetic systems, lamination systems, and cutters. These devices are useful across many applications, including biosensors, dry chemistry, flow-through, lateral flow, immunoblots, FISH and karyotyping, low volume PCR, and biochips.
