The company was formally founded in May 2018.[1]
In July 2020, the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) announced that Genemod would be one of 26 participants of WTIA's Founder Cohort Program, "designed to guide the startups through such things as fundraising, corporate governance, and customer development."[2]
In 2023, electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) functionality appears to have been added to the solution.
