Figure 5. The effect of NDN caching on SRA download times on a Kubernetes cluster. A single NCBI SRA Homo sapiens kidney RNAseq dataset (SRR5139395) was downloaded a total of nine times (3 transfer trials labeled I, II, III in triplicate) for each cache size (packet number in parentheses). The following cs_max sizes (packet number) were used: 65,536 (approx 500 MB), 262,144, 327,680, 393,216, and 458,752. The Y-axis shows the download time for the dataset into the endpoint pod in seconds. Error bars represent standard error of the mean. |
