The Applied Research Centre for Natural Products and Medical Cannabis—which is a part of the Applied Research and Innovation Department at Loyalist College of Applied Arts and Technology—provides analytical testing services to the agriculture, food and beverage, and natural health products industries. The research center also conducts research on Cannabis and provides chemical laboratory testing of it for the country's various cannabis programs.[1]
History
Loyalist College was reportedly the first Canadian college granted permission (January 2017) to conduct formal research on the Cannabis plant.[2]
