Medinous is a modular hospital information system (HIS) that contains a laboratory information system (LIS) module, among other things. The HIS comes in three versions: Fusion, Spectrum, and Enterprise. These version correspond with the size of the medical center or hospital facility. The LIS module is described as providing "a fully optimized, automated diagnostic reporting workflow, starting from test requests raised by physicians, to collection of samples from patients, to processing and reporting of the test results."[2]
