Merge Healthcare Inc. develops and distributes healthcare software solutions.
History
In October 2015, IBM announced its acquisition of Merge Healthcare was complete, to be part of IBM's Watson Health business unit.[1]
Several Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Class 2 Device Recall notices concerning Merge LIS were posted by the FDA between 2016 and 2017.[2][3] Sometime after June 2017[4], the Merge Healthcare website updated to reflect the new ownership of IBM Watson Health, and the Merge LIS page disappeared. The product is presumed to no longer be offered.
Technology and products
