History

In May 2023, Datamine Software Ltd. announced that it had acquired Assaynet. Datamine justified the acquisition by saying, "Through this acquisition, Datamine is continuing to expand its portfolio comprised of the most comprehensive and sophisticated suite of solutions for mining operational needs."^[1] Terms of the acquisition were not given, and it's not clear what will happen to Assaynet (merger, subsidiary, etc.).

Assaynet LIMS

Assaynet LIMS is a "highly-scalable" laboratory information management system (LIMS) that's "built specifically for environmental and minerals laboratories."^[2] Previous names for the product were "LIMS2010" and "LIMS2003."
