Open Journal Systems or OJS is free open-source journal management and publishing software for the academic world "for the purpose of making open access publishing a viable option for more journals."[2] The software is developed and released under the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), which "is dedicated to improving the scholarly and public quality of research."[3]
