University of Victoria (UVic or Victoria) is a public research university located in Greater Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The university is organized into 12 faculties and divisions offering undergraduate and graduate programs. The university enrolled more than 18,000 students, and it ranked 274 among the world's universities and tenth among the nation's universities according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[1]
