iLab Solutions, LLC developed and distributed laboratory informatics software solutions that primarily focused on work flow management, reporting, and billing.

History

iLab Solutions was founded in July 2006.[2]

In March 2013, iLab partnered with Vanderbilt University to take features from Vanderbilt's Core Ordering & Reporting Enterprise System (CORES) and implement them into iLab's core facility management system. The company claims that this combined system is being used in "130 research institutions across 13 countries."[3]

In June 2016, Agilent Technologies, Inc. announced it had agreed to purchase iLab Solutions[4], completing the acquisition August 1.[1] The iLab software became part of the Agilent portfolio as iLab Operations Software.[5]
