iVention BV is a developer and distributor of a variety of laboratory and health informatics solutions.

History

iVention was founded in 2009 in the Netherlands. In January 2015, the company began expanding across Europe and into India.[1] In October 2015, expansion into the U.S. as iVention, LLC began, including a business partnership with consultancy GeoMetrick Enterprises.[2][3]

In March 2023, GENII Software Group (related to the GUS Group) acquired iVention and would be placing it in its laboratories business group with Blomesystem GmbH and iCD System GmbH.[4]

On May 1, GUS Group entities Blomesystem GmbH and iCD System GmbH were formally merged together to become GUS LAB GmbH.[5] GUS Group added: "In the future, further laboratory service providers of GENII and the GUS Group will be merged into GUS LAB."[5] This presumably will eventually include iVention BV, which was acquired by GENII Software Group in March 2023.[4]
