Mongoose Coding developed and distributed custom software solutions, including laboratory informatics software, in Microsoft Excel.

History

Sometime in 2018 or 2019, Mongoose Coding owner Lee Gilley started a new business, Docmo, and integrated Mongoose Coding into Docmo as its "Professional Services division."[1][2] The Mongoose Coding website is no longer live, and there is no mention of Mongoose LIMS on the Docmo site. The business is presumably defunct and the LIMS no longer offered.

Mongoose LIMS

Mongoose LIMS was an Excel-based laboratory information management system designed to be "light weight, locally hosted, and affordable."[3] The LIMS was based on a version "developed specifically for and licensed to the University of California at San Diego (UCSD)."[3]
