Ventyx, Inc. developed and distributed automation and enterprise asset management software and services, including a laboratory informatics software solution for mining and metal processing laboratories.

History

On May 9, 2011, the ABB Group announced it had acquired Mincom Pty. Ltd. and would be integrating it with its subsidiary Ventyx, Inc.[2][3] On February 6, 2012, ABB announced it had "completed the organizational integration of Mincom."[4]

On January 30, 2015, ABB announced Ventyx would become ABB Enterprise Software[1], essentially becoming fully absorbed into ABB along with CCLAS.[5]

Technology and products

CCLAS

CCLAS was a laboratory information management system (LIMS) for mining companies, "built to ensure delivery of consistently high quality products."[6] It is now officially an ABB product.
