Sociodemographic characteristics and the environments in which we live influence our food choices and interact with many of the individual factors impacting our health and wellbeing. The framework illustrates the multiple dimensions that can be considered to understand dietary choices better and enable healthy behavior change tailored to individuals and their environments.
