LibreBooking is a free web-based open-source resource scheduling solution based off the now closed-source Booked Scheduler.

Product history

LibreBooking started out as Booked Scheduler, an open-source resource scheduling solution developed by Twinkle Toes Software. On November 1, 2020, Booked Scheduler became a closed-source software as a service (SaaS) offering, with the last open-source version being 2.8.5.^[1]^[2] The repo for Booked Scheduler was forked and turned into LibreBooking, with the first version being released as 2.8.5.1 on November 11, 2020.^[1] As of June 2023^[update], the software continues to receive updates, with the latest release being made in mid-April.
