University of Scranton (or just Scranton) is a private, non-profit Catholic and Jesuit research university, located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States. The university is organized into three colleges that offer more than 100 undergraduate programs and 30 graduate programs.[1] The university enrolled 5,422 students, and it ranked sixth among Northern regional universities and second for "Best Colleges for Veterans" according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[2]
