University of New England (UNE) is a private non-profit university located in Biddeford, Maine, United States. The university also has campuses in Portland, Maine and Tangier, Morocco. UNE is the largest private university in the state of Maine and the largest educator of healthcare professionals for the state. It is organized into six colleges that combine to offer more than 70 undergraduate, graduate, online, and professional degrees. The university enrolled nearly 7,800 students, and it ranked 80 among Northern regional universities in the U.S. according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[1]
