University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte or UNCC) is a public research university located in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. The university offers more than 190 different undergraduate and graduate programs across its 10 colleges and schools.[1] UNO is classified as a research university with high research activity by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.[2] The university enrolled nearly 28,000 students, and it ranked 202 among national universities according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[3]
