University of Washington, commonly referred to as simply Washington, UW, or informally U-Dub, is a public research university based in Seattle, Washington, United States. The university also has campuses in Tacoma and Bothell. The university is organized into 16 colleges and schools offering hundreds of undergraduate and graduate programs.
