A cleanup batch, as defined by the United States Environmental Protection Agency via its SEDD Specification Version 5.2, is a linked group of "multiple sample aliquots that are cleaned up together for processing by one method. 'Together' implies similarity of time, place, and manner of cleanup."[1]
